Gemeinsame Buchlesung mit Isabel Seimann und Susanne Kuffner im Rahmen der linzpride
Am Mittwoch, den 18. Juni 2025, laden wir zu einem besonderen literarischen Abend ins forty nine ein. Die beiden Autorinnen Isabel Seimann und Susanne Kuffner lesen aus ihren aktuellen queeren Romanen und geben persönliche Einblicke in ihre Geschichten.
In „Das Herz ist anderer Meinung“ erzählt Isabel Seimann mit klarer Sprache und poetischer Tiefe von Alexandra, die darum ringt, sich selbst zu zeigen. Zwischen der Sehnsucht nach Zugehörigkeit und der Angst, nie ganz akzeptiert zu werden, wächst eine leise, aber kraftvolle Coming-Out-Geschichte.
Susanne Kuffners „Endloser Winter“ begleitet den Musiker Mike, der offen schwul lebt und sich in den charismatischen Leon verliebt – einen Sänger, der jedoch in einer Beziehung mit einer Frau steckt. Die Geschichte bewegt sich zwischen musikalischer Verbundenheit, inneren Konflikten, Angst vor Verlust und der lähmenden Sorge, nicht zu genügen.
Nach der Lesung gibt es die Möglichkeit, mit den Autorinnen ins Gespräch zu kommen und die Bücher vor Ort zu erwerben.

Pride Talk: Queer History – eine Zeitreise durch queere Geschichte
Am Freitag, 20. Juni 2025, laden wir euch um 19:00 Uhr ins forty nine zu einem besonderen Abend voller Reflexion, Wissen und Austausch ein.
Gemeinsam mit Dr. Rainer Bartel und Susanne Kalka reisen wir durch zentrale Stationen der queeren Geschichte – von den frühen Bewegungen bis hin zu aktuellen gesellschaftlichen Entwicklungen. Dabei geht es nicht nur um Rückblick, sondern auch um Fragen von Sichtbarkeit, Kämpfen und Zukunft.
Im Anschluss ab 21:00 Uhr: Pre-Pride Empfang im forty nine – ein entspannter Abend mit Musik, Drinks und Community-Feeling, direkt vor dem großen Parade-Wochenende.

Bist du bereit für die linzpride 2025? Dann komm ab 12:00 zum Warm Up in den Volksgarten.
Moderiert wird das Warm Up von Drag Queen Cherry T Joystick.
In Form von Kurzinterviews werden wir politischen Vertreter*innen von Stadt, Land und Bund die Chance geben, ihr Wort an die queere Community zu richten.
Michael Müller, der Vereinssprecher der HOSI Linz, wird ebenfalls das Wort ergreifen und daran erinnern, wie wichtig es ist, durch die linzpride Sichtbarkeit zu zeigen und unsere Forderungen in die Öffentlichkeit hinauszutragen.
Wer noch auf der Suche nach Regenbogen-Accessoires für die Parade ist, ist mit dem Sortiment des PRIDE Shops vor dem Musiktheater bestens versorgt: Eine Vielzahl an Fahnen, Armbändern, Buttons, Pins, und Solibändern wartet darauf, gekauft und mit Stolz getragen zu werden!
Das Warm Up im Volksgarten ist mehr als nur eine Vorbereitung auf den linzpride Tag – es ist eine Möglichkeit, zusammenzukommen, uns gegenseitig zu ermutigen und uns darauf zu freuen, gemeinsam laut, bunt und stolz zu sein!

Sei Teil der Pride Parade, die um 14:00 Uhr im Volksgarten startet und sich durch den pulsierenden Stadtkern bewegt, bevor sie wieder an ihrem Ursprungsort endet und nahtlos in die anschließende Pride City übergeht.
Erlebe die Vielfalt und mitreißende Energie unserer Community hautnah, während zwei Trucks mit einem kunterbunten Moderationsteam und einem abwechslungsreichen Musikprogramm die Parade anführen.

Nach der Pride Parade durch die Straßen von Linz lädt die PRIDE CITY dazu ein, den Nachmittag in einer Atmosphäre der Gemeinschaft und des Feierns zu verbringen, und zwar rund um das OK Linz (Offenes Kulturhaus).
Willkommen in der PRIDE CITY! Nach der Pride Parade durch die Straßen von Linz lädt die PRIDE CITY dazu ein, den Nachmittag in einer Atmosphäre der Gemeinschaft und des Feierns zu verbringen, und zwar rund um das OK Linz (Offenes Kulturhaus).
Ab 14:00 Uhr erwarten euch Infostände von Vereinen, Firmen und Sponsor*innen auf dem OK Platz und im Innenhof des Ursulinenhofs. Hier könnt ihr euch über die Arbeit und die vielfältigen Angebote der Communityvereine informieren und mit Gleichgesinnten ins Gespräch kommen. Vergesst nicht, im bunten Sortiment des PRIDE Shops zu stöbern, wo ihr eine große Auswahl an Fahnen, Armbändern, Buttons, Pins und Solibändern findet – jeder im PRIDE Shop erworbene Artikel unterstützt die HOSI Linz und ist ein wunderschönes Zeichen der Solidarität und des Zusammenhalts.
Ab 17:30 Uhr erwartet euch ein vielseitiges Programm und einem mitreißenden DJ-Lineup, das für die richtige Stimmung sorgt. Freut euch auf Kurzvorstellungen der Partner*innenvereine, die euch einen Einblick in ihre Arbeit und ihre Ziele geben werden. Diese verstärkte Einbindung von Partner*innen der HOSI Linz und der linzpride schafft neue Kooperationen und stärkt die Verbundenheit innerhalb der Community.

Wo queere Sichtbarkeit wächst, wächst oft auch digitaler Gegenwind. Darum ist dieser Abend bewusst nach der linzpride angesetzt – um mögliche queerfeindliche Vorfälle im digitalen Raum direkt aufgreifen und gemeinsam besprechen zu können. Denn gerade rund um große Sichtbarkeitsmomente wie die Pride nehmen auch Hasskommentare, Angriffe und digitale Gewalt spürbar zu.
Gemeinsam mit der Medienethikerin Dr.in Claudia Paganini werfen wir einen Blick auf die Mechanismen hinter Hatespeech, auf typische Angriffsstrategien und gesellschaftliche Dynamiken – und diskutieren, wie wir uns als Community wehren und gegenseitig stärken können.
Im Fokus stehen der Austausch, das Lernen voneinander – und die Frage, wie wir mit digitaler Gewalt umgehen können, ohne unsere Sichtbarkeit zu verlieren.

Wann? – immer am 2. Donnerstag des Monats ab 19:00
Wo? – in der Queer Bar forty nine in der Schillerstaße 49, 4020 Linz
Die Ladies*Night soll ein Safe Space für queere Frauen* sein zum gemütlichen Zusammensitzen und Austauschen. Was die genaue Ausgestaltung des monatlichen After-Work-Get-Togethers anbelangt, wird sich an den Bedürfnissen und Wünschen der Besucherinnen* orientiert: Von zwanglosen Teetratschs bis hin zu unterhaltsamen Spieleabenden inklusive DJane ist alles möglich.
Altersgrenzen gibt es keine: Alle Menschen jeden Alters sind herzlich willkommen. Selbstverständlich ist der Abend auch offen für nicht-binäre, trans* und intergeschlechtliche Personen. Lediglich Männer sind von diesem Abend ausgeschlossen – die werden freitags und samstags wieder mit offenen Armen empfangen.

The Ladies*Night should be a safe space for queer women* to get together and have a nice chat. The exact format of the monthly after-work get-together will be based on the needs and wishes of the guests: From relaxed tea chats to entertaining board game evenings including a DJane, anything is possible.
There are no age limits: All people of all ages are welcome. Of course, the evening is also open to non-binary, trans* and intersex people. Only men are excluded from this evening – they will be welcomed back with open arms on Fridays and Saturdays.

Der „Queer Talk“ ist eine regelmäßig stattfindende Veranstaltung der HOSI Linz. Mitglieder und Interessierte können sich über aktuelle Ereignisse aus der LGBTIQ*-Community, über das Vereinsgeschehen und über die Angebote der HOSI Linz informieren, – und sich auch aktiv in den Verein einbringen.
Wir hoffen, dass sich der „Queer Talk“ als eine tolle Möglichkeit etabliert, bei der sich LGBTIQ*-Personen aus Linz und Umgebung treffen, um sich in entspannter Atmosphäre auszutauschen, zu informieren und zu engagieren. Wenn du Interesse hast, am „Queer Talk“ teilzunehmen, dann komm‘ am 2. Freitag im Monat ab 19:00 in die Queer Bar forty nine. Wir freuen uns auf dich!

The ‘Queer Talk’ is a regular event organised by HOSI Linz. Members and interested parties can find out about current events from the LGBTIQ* community, about what’s going on at the organisation and about what HOSI Linz has to offer – and can also get actively involved in the organisation.

We hope that the ‘Queer Talk’ will establish itself as a great opportunity for LGBTIQ* people from Linz and the surrounding area to meet, exchange ideas, get informed and get involved in a relaxed atmosphere.
